- Must be able to get up from and down to the floor without assistance.
- Cost $55 for this 6-week series. Hurry… space is limited. All classes in the upstairs studio.

Do you want strong bones and a strong body? Join Nancy for a new and fun workout that:

- Improves your balance, coordination, posture and flexibility
This class is led by Nancy Alexander, PT, CSCS, ACE Certified Senior Fitness Specialist, Licensed Buff Bones® Instructor. Only licensed instructors can provide this class and Nancy brings along her physical therapy training and experience to make this medically-endorsed program a must for adults who want to improve their health. Class size is limited as Nancy walks around the room each class to make sure your form is correct.

Buff Bones® integrates Pilates, strength training, functional movement and rehabilitative exercises to improve the health and longevity of your bones and joints. Unlike many other programs, this one is safe for those with osteoporosis. In addition, Nancy can customize your workout to accommodate for various conditions such as spinal stenosis and arthritis, among others.
Participants must be able to stand on both feet and get up from and down to the floor without assistance. Bring a hand towel and a bottle of water. Wear comfortable clothing to allow for ease of movement. Mats and small hand weights are provided. Sessions are presented at an introductory level to help you focus on proper form and give you time to learn the program.
All classes will be held in the upstairs studio at the Canandaigua YMCA. These classes are available to members and non-members. Contact Nancy directly by May 4 to register as space is limited to allow for the best possible experience and outcome. If you’re not a member of the YMCA, simply sign your name in the guest book at the front desk and note “Buff Bones.”
